Petit Le Mans

On Saturday, October 4th, (I know...this post is really late!) I went to the Petit Le Mans to shoot the event with 15 of my peers from my photojournalism class.  We left Athens before the sun was up and didn't return until after midnight.  It was a VERY long day!! The race is 1,000 miles or 10 hours long (whichever comes first).  So, since it started around 11am it lasted into the dark (which made for some fun pictures).  Here are literally a FEW of my favorite pictures from the day..I took so many I can't even keep them straight.  It was an incredible experience, and I am so glad I got the chance to go! My professor is pretty awesome for hooking us up with such a great opportunity!
